I hear you say.....some of the strangest things can be most beneficial If you suffer from constipation,
it can be a great relief to have a daily coffee enema. There are a lot of people out there that get very excited about a coffee enema. A lot of my clients start out being a bit embarrased, but they are usually the ones that can't wait to spread the word about how good they feel.
If you suffer from depression, IBS or migranes or headaches, coffee enemas really can be a great benefit to you.
Coffee enemas and hypnotherapy?
Yes, often when you change your eating habits or give up smoking it really affects how our bodies work, someone who has always been regular may become constipated and uncomfortable while their body is going through a detox.
Don't knock it til you've tried it!
Coffee enemas rapidly help remove toxins from the liver. They often provide quick relief when you are tired, sleepy, suffer with headaches, or is just feeling poorly. They can also help with spasms, precordial (heart, throat, chest) pain and difficulties resulting from the sudden withdrawal of all intoxicating sedation.
A coffee enema, when done properly, causes the liver to produce more bile, opens the bile ducts, and causes the bile to flow. In this process, a toxic liver can dump many of its toxins into the bile and get rid of them in just a few
minutes. This often gives great relief to all parts of the body, and often makes the difference between lying down feeling miserable and feeling good and being active.
Coffee enemas are also effective in relieving pain. Patients with cancer, for an example, may achieve relief from pain even when drugs have failed.
It is interesting to note that drinking a cup of coffee has an entirely different effect from that of using it as a cleansing enema. Drinking coffee can cause the following problems: increases reflex response; lowers blood pressure;
increases heart rate; causes insomnia and heart palpitation; over stimulates the adrenals; irritates the stomach; and leaves a toxic residue in the body.
A coffee enema, when done properly, will not produce these effects.
Of course it's still nice to enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend, but there are so many health benefits from coffee enemas than from actually drinking your coffee.
It is so usual in our home that, when I say to my kids, "I'm just going for a coffee", they know exactly what I mean!
Coffee Enema Instructions
First things first:
You need to purchase an enema kit, most good Pharmacies will stock these, (if you have trouble contact me)
I like the type that has the plastic or stainless jug. With your kit you will get a jug, a long tube, a hook (to attach to the door) and usually a couple of different types of nozzels, and a clamp.
It all fits easily together, fit the clamp at the opposite end of the tube to the jug, so you can control the flow of the coffee whilst taking the enema.
The water used to make coffee and prepare coffee enema has to be clean. The water can be filtered water or from a water purifier, it can also be tap water or rain water.
Organic ground coffee is recommended to be used in coffee enemas. Organic coffee usually contains more natural substances that will benefit our body .
Ground Organic Coffee Beans can be bought at most supermarkets or health food shops, it is ok to get
coffee that is not organic though. Just make sure it doesn’t contain chemical ingredients.
A kilo of coffee lasts me about 2 months or more, that is using it once a day.
First boil approximately 500 mls (2 cups) water, with 1 heaped tablespoon of finely ground coffee for 15 minutes.
Cool until it reaches body temperature. Can be more or less water, you will get to know how much you can take at a time.
You don't want it to be too hot, because it can burn you, you also don't want it too cold, because it can
be uncomfortable. I just test with my finger and when it feels nice and warm, I gently pour it into my enema jug, making sure the clamp is shut of the end of the tube. I say gently because, you want to leave as much residue of the coffee in the saucepan, so it doesn't clog up your enema jug. A fine strainer can also be used for this.
Find a comfortable spot to lay down, near the bathroom or in the bathroom is a good idea, lay a thick towel
on the floor, and you need to hook your enema jug about two feet or three feet off the ground, hook onto
a door handle is a great idea.
Lay on your right side, in the fetal position, and place the end of the tube gently into your anus. I suggest
using KY Jelly or Olive Oil to make this process easier. It shouldn't be painful, it should insert quite
comfortably. Take your time. When you are satisfied that the nozzel is inserted, you can release the clamp
and let the coffee begin to flow.
As with everything practice makes perfect, it seems like a lot to do, but after the first couple of times
it is easy and quick.
If you find the coffee isn't flowing down the tube, you may have to move the tube around a bit, making
sure that it is higher than your body.
It can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to 15 minutes to empty the jug. When the jug is empty, you
can remove the nozzle, and lie back and relax.
Most people describe the feeling as soothing and warm when you feel the coffee enter your body, some
people may get a bit of a cramp, this will pass quickly.
Most of the time your first enema will not last very long, you are trying for 15 minutes of holding the coffee
inside, sometimes it is beneficial to take a small amount, then go to the toilet, then finish the rest of the
enema, the longer you can hold onto it the better. But don't worry if you can only hold it for a few minutes.
Practice makes perfect! In no time you will be doing this as part of your everyday routine.I'm sure after you
have been to the toilet, you will already feel lighter and less bloated, it is up to you how often you do this, I
recommend once a day, some people will have a couple a day.
After your enema, flush it out with clean soapy water, making sure it runs free, I soak mine a couple of
times a week in a solution of weak bleach and a bit of anticeptic.
Some people say "I haven't got time for that", but when you get used to it, it can be quick, and a relaxing
time just for you, and it's usually people who don't suffer from constipation that think it's a waste of time.
I guarantee that you will feel much better very quickly, as with everything, if you have any adverse affects,
stop and consult a doctor.
I really hope this makes a difference and you start to feel the full benefits soon.
